Is there any link to initiate request for cancellation and refund of fees. I had paid the fees online as this year there was no provision of personal counselling.All the activities were done online only.

basanta Kumar Sahoo I am a medical doctor seeking refund for my child's admission. SRM shared a link to the new cancellation portal via email 2 days back. This new cancellation sub-site speaks volumes of the incompetence of the SRM people. The entire webpage was down today. It was after dozens of attempts that I was able to finally reach the cancellation tab and to my horror it showed that cancellation has already been initiated but to whom I do not know. The acknowledgement link is just a blank pdf document. If this was not enough trouble, they also have a fake link going around to fool people. DO not trust that fake link which is also hosted on srmist.edu.in. Enter data only on the link that is mailed to by the refund section of SRM. Good luck tp you in getting even this link to work. I called up the SRM helpline number and the people there have one standard answer "server is down" for 2 days. Such is the incompetence of SRM that they cannot even give clearcut confirmation as to whether cancellation is done or not, and if the process is initiated to what bank account are they giving it back to ..... Even without me clicking cancellation or entering any bank details, their "genius" cancellation portal is saying the admission is cancelled and the money is being given back to a "blank pdf paper" Bank account. LOL I would appreciate if anyone can share their experience. thanks.
