Uttar Pradesh NEET 2020 UG counseling process has begun with the activation of the registration link a while ago. The schedule for the UP NEET 2020 was released (https://scroll.in/announcements/977722/up-neet-2020-counselling-schedule-released-registration-process-to-begin-from-today) for admissions to various MBBS and BDS courses a while ago and now the process has begun.

The registration process to participate in the UP NEET 2020 counseling can be done on the official website (http://upneet.gov.in/) , upneet.gov.in.

The document verification process for all the registered candidates will be done at the nodal centres in person. The process of document verification will be done from November 6 (12.00 noon). The last day to register to participate in the UP NEET 2020 counseling is November 8 and the last day to get the documents verified is November 9.

The candidates have to pay a registration fees of 2,000/- and a security deposit of 30,000/- for government seats and 2,00,000/- for private medical seat or 1,00,000/- for private dental seat at the nodal centre during the document verification process. The candidates need to complete these formalities to be eligible to participate in the choice filling process.

After the verification process is completed, choice filling process on the official website will begin on November 6 (2.00 pm) and can be done until November 10. The allotment result is expected to be released on November 11 and November 12 and admission process based on the allotment can be done until November 18.

All the candidates are requested to go through the official notification and various steps that one needs to follow before proceeding with the registration process for the UP NEET 2020.

Based on the choices filled by the aspirants, NEET rank, seats available, reservation, and other factors, the authority will conduct the seat allotment. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to report to the allotted college before the stipulated time period along with the required documents.

If you look at the official notification http://www.updgme.in/docs/9956611.pdf it says that you have to visit the documentation verification center to get the academic documents verified along with other relevant documents like Reservation documents, etc. The process is as follows:

1. Registration-Pay the registration fees-download the registration slip and get the documents verified at the verification center.
2. Registration-Pay the registration fees-if you are not able to download the registration slip- wait for payment updation. Once the payment has been updated, you can download the registration slip and then go to the verification center.
3. Submit your CTS Bank DD at the verification nodal center with your name, Address, roll number, mobile number at the back of the DD.
4. Once done with the document verification, fill the choices and lock them. Remember to lock your choices because if you do not lock the choices, you will not be considered for seat allocation process.
5. If the seat allotted is in GMC/GDC, go to the allotted College for admission.
6. But of the seat allotted is in Private Medical/Dental College, you have to go to the nodal center for admission.
7. The name of the admission nodal centre will be given on the allotment letter.
