  • Budding – A new organism is formed from the parent body (e.g., Hydra).
  • Fragmentation – The body gets divided into pieces, and each piece gives rise to a new organism (e.g., Spirogyra).
  • Spore formation – Spores give rise to new organisms (e.g., fungi).
  • Vegetative propagation – New plants are formed from roots, stems, or leaves (e.g., potato, Bryophyllum).
