To get admission for mtech your son first have to appear for gate exam.By this exam he he can join iits nit and any college.He have to clear gate cutoff.

To take M.tech admission. You should have to give GATE examination held by IITs with guidance of IISc Bangalore. After getting well scores in GATE you can go for admission process by online site of various colleges individually.
Moreover most of students also get admission without GATE score. But I suggest that doing Masters in that colleges makes your time waste. So you have to solely depend on GATE exam.

The process is simple, prepare for gate exam well and with a decent mark you may get very good college for your further education in any field you want.
