A PhD in neuroscience will help you get a doctorate degree in neuroscience without having to do MBBS. PhD in neuroscience is a post graduate research programme that typically lasts for 3 years. To apply for this course you will have to complete MSc or MPhil from a recognized university after you complete Bsc. Admission is commonly based on merit obtained in entrance exams (GATE). Hello aspirant,

If you're talking about a phD in Neuroscience technology, then you don't need MBBS for it. You just need to have an M.Sc or M.phil degree. The eligibility for doctorate in neuroscience is : an M.Sc /M.phil degree in relevant disciplines from a recognized university, with a minimum 55 percent aggregate.

Mostly, the mode of admission is through an entrance exam followed by an interview. Some of the colleges offering the same:

  • Indian institute of science, Bangalore
  • University of Calcutta, Kolkata
  • Amity university, Noida
  • MAHE, Manipal.

Thankyou
