Admission in Maharashtra is given on the basis of MHT CET entrance exam mostly and it is compulsory to appear for this entrance for  maharashtra candidates however,some seats are filled through all india quota 15% on the basis of jee mains so you should have decent rank if you are applying through jee mains.You also have to register for centralized counselling process.You can read here the complete process
