You can get admission into engineering college through jee mains. JEE mains is national engineering entrance which is accepted by NIT, IIIT, government college and universities and private engineering institutes.

Some universities have their own engineering entrance exam. Some of the exam names are :-

1. IPU CET
2. SRMJEEE
3. Separate entrance test/ screening test

If you don't want to join through entrance exam score, you can get seat through direct admission.
