Getting a good job from small private colleges no doubt a very hard work. In the good reputed colleges MNC's come for placement but in tier 3 colleges not even a single good company comes for placement other then Infosys , accenture and Wipro like companies.

For getting a good job from small private college you should built your Resume in a good way and do some activities in college by which you can collect certificates which you can show in your resume.

1-From 1st year you should start practicing coding . Because coding is very necesary  for getting placed. You may know many languages but you must be expert in one language. For practicing there are many platforms like codechef, hackerrank, hackerearth etc.

2-Start doing internship in from your 2nd year. You can easily find it on INTERNSHALA or from other sites. Apply in as many as you can do then only you will get the call letter from 2-3 companies.

Try to do internship in Startups, they may not pay you much but the thing which you will learn there will be great. You learn pressure handling there. which is very important.

3-From the end of 3rd year start giving interviews in good companies from out side(off campusing ).Apply for every company in which you see vacancies.

If you have practiced the competitive coding then you will definitely get the job.

Hello,

Ya, it's true that colleges do matter for job placements. But it is now like that the students from the under rated or average colleges don't get a job. Even many students from the best colleges don't get a job. The job is always offered to the one who is eligible for that job.

Keep your academics good throughout your study years. Acquire all the knowledge of your field and keep your aggregate good. In addition to the studies be competitive and active in other co curriculum and extra curriculum activities as well. Make yourself an ideal personality. Acquire the qualities like being punctual, disciplined, honest, curious and develop a good sense of humor. Analyze your strengths, weakness, qualities, your best zones and work on your skill and personality development.

Make yourself such capable that even if there is a single percent chance of getting a job, then you can get it. Be hopeful and confident on your skills. You will surely get a job if you make yourself capable of it.

Best Wishes.

Hello aspirant, when you are from a small college, you cannot have that much exposure to big MNC's, so you must apply for them in their portals. You must have a very strong resume which contains good certifications, so that the companies may consider you and call for an interview.

Thank you.
