JIPMER BSc Entrance Exam 2019 date has been announced by Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER). The entrance exam is going to be conducted on June 23, 2019. The online registration will start from April 18, 2019, at jipmer.puducherry.gov.in. The entrance exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) and B.Sc. Allied Medical Sciences courses


EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

1. Should have passed the Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate
2. Examination (ICSE) which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination.
3. Should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology (including practical tests in the mentioned subjects) and English.
4. Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (+2) Vocational Stream with
5. Medical Laboratory Assistant or any equivalent examination are also eligible for the JIPMER BSc entrance exam.
6. The students should have obtained passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology /
7. Botany & Zoology and English individually and should have obtained a minimum of
8. 50% marks taken together in all the subjects (PCB). In the case of SC/ST/ OBC or OPH, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
9. For OPH candidates in the general category, the minimum marks required in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology taken together in the qualifying examination is 45%.
