In order to make the central gazette certificate you will have take the following steps.

1) Prepare an Affidavit

2) Take out Newspaper Advertisement (One in the regional language and one in English (national).

3) Prepare Documents - Collect the Affidavit, newspaper copies, photos, ID Proof (Pan/Aadhar) and a cover letter.

4) Fill the online application - Go to the e-Gazzette portal and register and upload all the documents

5) Pay the fee.

6) The department will review the application. Once approved, the name is published in the Gazette of India, which can be downloaded.
