Hey Himanshu,

Here are some tips that you can follow for preparation of your DU entrance exam-

1.Develop the skill of time management.
2.Analyse the syllabus and exam pattern well before you start preparing
3.Prepare smartly, make handy notes of important topics and do the revision regularly
4.Do not underestimate your health for exams. You need to stay fit to have a healthy mind.

For UG Courses, the exam pattern is as follows-
The exam duration will be two hours for all the courses.
The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
In the examination, total 100 questions will be asked.
For the correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
For an incorrect response, one mark will be deducted.
The exam will be organized from third week of June 2019.

For UG courses, the syllabus is based on class 11th & 12th standard subjects. For PG course, it is based on graduation level study. For exam preparation, you should follow the official syllabus. You can also prepare from last year question papers & model papers.

Hope this will help you! :)
