Self attestation means self-verified. 

Take Xerox or print out of your original marksheet, and sign the Xerox sheet with a blue ballpoint pen in a clear space on the front facing side only.

Make sure your signature is clear, legible and what you usually have on other documents and also make sure that you don't cutoff any printed writing off the Xeroxed sheet.
