The EWS category will be put into force from the academic year 2019-2020 as per the official note. However the qualifying percentile for EWS is 50 which is equal to the qualifying percentile for the general category. Hence candidates belonging to EWS category are not required to make any changes to the application form. The documents regarding the category need to be submitted only during the time of counseling.
