Microbiology is a good up and coming career option. It has a very bright scope in research area and will be a gold mine for you if you want a research oriented career. Doing an M.Sc. is a must after doing B.Sc. because the opportunities after B.Sc. are not many. Also, after M.Sc. you can get opportunities for a Phd or a job in foreign countries as their the scope is much more.
