how would I know that I got a seat in NIT or IIT..? Would I get a phone call...? Or any message..?

Hi Mudhapaka,

You will know about the seat allotment by applying through JoSAA counselling after getting your result and rank.And to know about the colleges in which your are getting seat,you have to apply for the counselling and by logging in to the JoSAA site.

If you have applied through its official website or through counseling,.you will get a notification in your page about admission process. If the institute is reputated, you will receive a call about admission. So, even keep checking profile of counseling website or college website through which you have applied.
