Yes, definitely you can give any government exam. Only eligibility required for civil services exam is to qualify graduation through any course and any stream from recognised university. And for age limit should not be less than 21 for appearing in exam.

It is sad to say that computer science students are not eligible to appeared in ias exam.

But there are too many private jobs available.

Electrical , mechanical and civil engineers are eligible for ias exam.
