I am a diploma final year student i want to get lateral entery in b tech. how is possible???

Hi there,

Eligibility criteria for Lateral entry in b.tech is following:

Candidates must have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved institute in appropriate branch of engineering and technology.

Qualifying percentage of candidates in diploma course for admission in btech is different according to category:

UR-45%

Reserved category- 40% it depends on institution they might give relaxation of 5 %.

Or

Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree in physics,chemistry and maths from a recognized institute.

Candidates must have scored 45% and relaxation of 5% is provided to reserved category.

Candidates should have passed their 12th standard with 60% marks including subject pcb of pcm or mcb.

Some institue provides admission on basis of entrance exam while some on merit basis .
