I understand how difficult your situation must be. Your BDS course gameplay cessation without incurring penalties is solely reliant on ‘the institution’s rules, the bond or admission agreement, and the medical grounds policies’ of your institution.

What you can do is:

1. Check your admission documents – Look to see if there are any bonds or penalty provisions for withdrawal from the course.

2. Take a medical certificate – Obtain a certificate, from a registered psychiatrist or clinical psychologist, outlining the diagnosis.

3. Formulate a formal application – The application needs to be requesting to withdraw on medical grounds and must include a medical certificate.

4. Visit the principal or the academic clerk’s office – Inquire if the penalty could perhaps be waived owing to genuine health concerns.

Documented cases often attract sympathy from several institutions, hopefully if you provide sufficient, valid documentation relevant to your situation.
