Hello Fatima

The cutoff changes every year and so the safe marks range for admission in any Government or private medical college- can't be predicted this way. As you will be applying for admission in other state- Chennai, your admission process will be under 15% AIQ seats.
And to get admission in a government medical college, your NEET score should be minimum 580+
The cutoff for general and OBC category stays nearly in a same range  and also goes high every year. So accordingly, prepare and aim for scoring maximum marks. Keep high target and focus on achieving it.
Practice maximum to score maximum.
Prepare well and study smart.!

Hope this helps.!
Good Luck.!!

Dear Urooj,
To get admission in government medical college of Chennai, you need to secure marks above 575. According to the 2017 cutoff for government medical college, your marks should be above 530 for obc as in last year. The cut off of 2017 was around 572 for obc category.
