JEE Main Most Scoring Concept: January 2025 Session | April 2025 Session
Dear Aspirant,
To get into IITs you have to score approximately 30% of the marks of the total marks of the JEE Advanced that year in which you appear. Predicting the exact marks is impossible as the cutoffs varies every year and also the full marks varied every year or every second year too.
Last year, in 2019, the maximum marks for the JEE ADVANCED were 372. The cutoff for the 2019 was 31.5 marks out of 372, and 9 marks in each Physics Chemistry and Mathematics for the OBC-NCL. In that case the required marks will be approx 120 to get into at least one IIT in the top 10 IITs. There are approximately 11289 seats in IITs for JEE Advanced and approximately 3000 seats go to OBC.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
