since  you have applied from general category you are not eligible for ews category. ews reservation is for those candidates who are in general category, have annual income less than of 8 lakhs, candidates family must not own more than 5 acres of agriculture land or The residential flat area should be below 1000 sq ft. you need to have valid certificate on behalf of ews, before applying as an ews candidate. right now your admission or counselling process will be based on your general category quota and rank.
