You haven't mentioned the document that has been missing. But if you have submitted to the HR, always keep a copy of that communication and document submission. If you sent it through Email, save a copy of that email for all future references. There should not be any problem about it. But check with the HR first if there is a way that you can submit that form through Mail first.
