Hi Aspirant !
Don't have an aim of earning good package . Definitely , Money is one of the most important things in the life . But finding any work just for the sake of money is bad . Choose that field in which you are interested . If you want to work as an engineer then go for GATE exam but if you want to do MBA then go for CAT examination . Also you should know work environment because it plays a vast role in deciding whether you will continue your job or give up .
