yes,you can give JEE mains exam this year but for JEE advanced first you need to qualify for JEE mains then only you are eligible for JEE advanced.

To give jee advanced, you first have to qualify for jee mains. If yoy get the required cutoff, then only you are eligible to sit for jee advanced. You can take jee mains in 3 attempts, one being on the year of passing 12th and the rest 2 on the next consecutive years. So by that, 2018 was the last chance for you to appear for the exam. If you have appeared, and secure the cutoff then you are absolutely eligible to sit for advanced untill and unleaa you have appeared for jee Advanced 2 times.
