Hi

Taking last year least marks getting a seat in government college of Assam into account 420 marks secured a seat in Tezpur medical College ,Tezpur under 85% state quota ,so yes,you might get a seat in government college under state quota .Keep in mind that cut off varies every year and it depends on factors like number of students appearing in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, students scoring more than you and category to which you belong to .

You can check the cutoff of various colleges of Assam here

Hope this helps

No its tough to get admission in govt college if you're from general category.but you may go for some good private medical college or drop a year do hard work score good and secure a seat in govt medical college or may be in top medical colleges of India

Good luck for your future :)
