I am from Bengal itself and believe me if you ask about Jadavpur and you are from other state, it is damn difficult. Since last year the state quota has been increased to 90% and so if you want to join from otheer state then your marks/rank should be very high. Atleast a rank within 70-80 (maximum 95-100 for OBC) is required.
