The correction window is the last chance for you to make any changes to your NEET application form. NTA neither will change your details on your behalf nor does it entertain any requests for changes in your application form. So if you have selected General Category as your Category during the time of filling the application form, you cannot claim EWS reservation at the time of Counselling because the merit list has been prepared on the basis of the Category that you mentioned when you filled the NEET application form.

To be very honest it's very difficult to answer this question. In general case the category which you have filled at the tune of your NEET form registration is considered final to be counted as your category at the time of seat allotment during Counseling.

Although if they have asked to you refill your category and have accepted your EWS certificate, there might be a chance that you can be counted in EWS reservation category. As why will they ask students to refill the category if they have to consider the information provided at the time of Neet form filling.
