JoSAA counselling 2020 will tentatively start from fourth week of June 2020.By the time counselling starts a candidate must have obtained class 12 results.As you will appear in improvement exam in July your results will be declared later.So you will be ineligible to get seat in NITs through counselling.

Hello student yes ofcourse you're eligible to take admission in NIT and even in IIT if you'll pass inn your improvement examination. As eligibility criteria says that - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.

You can easily calculate and get your rank by using this formula.
(100-your total percentile) 869010 /100
In your case your rank must be around 34760.
Predicting exact cutt off is difficult as it vary every year on various situations like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination.
