Hey !

Since you are from west bengal , you have the domicile of that state and you can not apply through AIQ.  So  based upon your score and previous year cutoff trend , you have chances to get an admission in government colleges under state counselling.

You have maximum chances to get into the following colleges:

  • Burdwan medical college -500
  • North bengal medical college,sushrutanagar-485
  • College of medicine and sagar dutta hospital -499

Figures mentioned are their previous year  cutoff scores.

Use NEET Predictor to predict your chances in government colleges on the basis of your NEET AIR :

Hope it helps!

Hey Debjit!Yes , its true that the cutoffs are going to increase this year and we expect a increase of not more than 20 marks . So , if you assume an increase of 20 marks in the cutoffs of the colleges that i have mentioned , you have chances of being there. So , i have mentioned the names of those colleges only where you can get a seat this year.

Dear Debjit, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, In 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

Gener Category: 479
BC-A: 478
BC-B: 474
SC: 349
ST: 183

Going by your score and previous cut offs, you have a very fair chance at getting a Government Medical College, irrespective of your Category. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can check the cut offs of your Category at:
