No, you cannot change your category after the declaration of the result or during the counselling. The details given in the application cannot be correct during the counselling. If you have filled the category as general candidate then you are considered as general category candidate. The cut off will be different for each category to get admission in to National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
