I'm getting 340marks in NEET without cutoff marks belonging to sc category can I get any MBBS college?

Hello Rishabh,

  • The NEET cut off varies from year to year, state to state and as well as college to college. It also depends on the Quota you are applying through as well as the Category of Admission. Government and Private Colleges have cut-offs of their own.
  • Assuming you are applying through the 15% All India Quota under General Category for a Government Medical College, the cut-off for NEET 2017 was Rank 38,660 which corresponds to a score of approximately 450 marks out of 720.

  • Therefore, with 340 marks, it is unlikely you will get a seat through All India Quota as the cut offs will be even higher this year. Getting a medicine seat will be quite difficult. You can try for 85% State Quota but chances are less. I hope you find this helpful. All the best!
