Hello divya,

Based on previous year cut-off, to attain a seat in a government college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET. As you belong to general category therefore the chances for seat inn any government medical colleges are not so high but lets hope for the best as cut-off varies every year .

Under 15% all india quota, you need to score more than 480 marks in neet to get a seat. As you have got 582 marks so you might have a chance for getting the seat in government colleges.

Hey dear, cutoff varies every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get govt. Mbbs colleges. So, with 582 marks you have good chances of getting govt. Mbbs college under state quota in general category, just stay tuned to the counselling. Hello aspirant
You have not mentioned your Category so considering you as a general category candidate
With 582 marks you have chances of getting mbbs seat in government college in Uttar Pradesh . Which college you will get depends upon cut off of the college. Cut off depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off and availability of seats etc.
You may get colleges like
Institute of medical science Banaras
Dr. Ram manohar lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow
King George medical college , Lucknow

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 582 marks
you hold a good  chance to get a seat in Government Medical College under UP state quota

For example,
in neet 2019, 575 marks for general category got a seat in  government Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich  under UP state quota .

You also have chances in

*Autonomous Medical College, Ayodhya
* Autonomous Medical College, Basti
* Govt. Medical College, Badaun

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at
