Dear Sahil, 586 is a terrific score. In 2017, under State Quota, 545 marks secured a seat in IGMC under General Category. And 583 was All Indoa Quota cutn off under General category in 2018. Going by the previous trends and your score, if you belong to General Category, it is a close call but you have decent chances if you belong to any of the Reserved Categories. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You will not be able to get seat in AIIMS without the AIIMS Exam but with this marks you can score seat in Government College. Yes you can even get seat in IGMC Shimla State Quota but there might be difficulty for getting admission there but you will be getting seat there too.
