Firstly congrats for such a good score while based on your marks rank is harder to predict because as it depends on you categeory you belong, date of examination,exam slot, so i would like to say kindly use of rank predictor tool to know the rank that gives you great result

Sir, I have used the rank predictor and it is predicting my rank to be around 2200 to 2500. I just wanted to ask whether this rank would be sufficient for any IIT? (And I belong to OBC)

Hello Ruthuja,
You scored good marks. I think, for get call from PSU, your chance is less.
You have to score more than 75+ for get PSU call.
For IITs, your GATE score is near about to 800.

Hello Rutuja.

Well I can assist u in this. See u are from the core branch in the engineering discipline which itself creates a more no of applicants.

The marks u have scored is enough to get u qualified in the GATE exam but it might not be sufficient for u to get a job in PSUs and pursue ur higher studies in IITs. But u can apply for some of the NITs for ur higher studies.

Since the cut off for good colleges is around 65-70 marks. Hope u got ur point. Ask for any other query
