I am going for a CLAT exam next and I am majorly focusing on private institution rather than NLU's, so will they accept my percentage of 44.66% instead of the eligibility criteria which is 45%.

Dear Sara, even before things move to admission process, for you to be eligible for CLAT, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45%. It is 45% for General and OBC Categories and its 40% for Reserved Categories. And unfortunately, the aggregate cannot be rounded off to the nearest digit. You have to earn it rightfully if we may say so. You have to appear for improvement exams to secure the required aggregate. It is tough to sit for improvement exams just for few decimals but unfortunately that is the only way you can be eligible for CLAT and seek admission even if it is a private institution.
