Hello,

It largely depends on your areas of interest, going for higher studies increases prospects more sobif you're interested in research or teaching at university level, after completing Master's Degree in Physics, you can qualify for NET/SET. And coming to competitive exams, in most cases it's eligibility is graduation, when you talk about these exams, first of all you've to choose you want to appear for which one, is it UPSC Civil Service, SSC CGL or banking because each has different exam pattern and with increasing competition it will take determination and single-minded focus to ace it.
