The Ministry of Health has announced that in 2020, there will be 75 new Medical Colleges that will start. Assuming that each College only gets 100 seat intake, on an overall note, the no.of seats that will increase would be 7500. And last year all Institutions did not implement EWS reservation. So if that comes into picture, we will have even more MBBS seats. So approximately, we might have 10,000 MBBS seats in additional to the existing 95,000 MBBS seats from 2019.
