hi aishwarya, you still have plenty of time  and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare ,choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too, good luck

Dear Aishwarya

Don't be sad.  It's okay,  if you are weak in chemistry, it doesn't mean that you won't get passed in that right. Please put some effort on practising the questions and also try to read the important questions as suggested by your professors.

Don't look deep into intermediate marks.

All the best.

Hello Aishwarya

Weakness and Chemistry has to be mastered by regular practice of numericals and being well versed in the formula of physical chemistry.

That is the only way in which you can master the odds of numericals on mole concept as well as formality and normality in physical chemistry.

Starting early is an essential aspect of mastering physical chemistry, because like physics that requires dedication of time and enough commitment to be able to master the concept and overcome your fears.

As of organic chemistry, it is more or less interrelated so once you acquaint yourself with different compounds and nomenclature, it should be just a matter of writing down reaction sequences and understanding how the rearrangement reactions occur and their mechanism, to transpose your knowledge into any questions in that domain.

As per inorganic chemistry, you require to go through various important chapters in Metallurgy to know about the allies, and the previous years questions as well as hand books will help us to which reactions are important regarding balancing and their metallurgical importances.

Overall what I would recommend to you, is early rehearsal of MCQs based on Dinesh or Pradeep books.

The study materials of Allen or Aakash could also be of help.

But most importantly if you want to form a concept a book like op Agarwal or op Tandon is the one you should be referring to.

Hope this helps, thank you
