I am in class 11 and am preparing for JEE (on my own) with regular school. What should be the ideal time table for me?

hi,

this is the perfect timing to start your preparation, you are well on time.

since you are in 11th class now dedicating a good 4 hours on a daily basis would be fine. Also, start with the subject you like, this would help you to keep up the interest in studies. Keep checking the module question papers from the internet and keep solving them to know your status of preparation of that topic.

also, do not take any sort of pressure as you have started too early and that is very good status.

all the best.

Hello.

  • Never be too confident about one subject (or topic) which you like and ignorant about another subject (or topic) which you don't. You never know the difficulty level of the question that would be asked. It may happen that in the examination, the subject( topic) which you had given your total dedication has a very high difficulty level and you might not be able to answer it while the subject(topic) you ignored has a very easy solution but you had not studied it properly so your competitors would gain an undue edge.

  • Take 5-10 minute short breaks at every hour or so. During breaks, close your eyes and relax. Try not to think of anything and keep your mind free.
  • TAKE ENOUGH SLEEP. Do not compromise on sleep.

  • What I would like to add is quantize your work.

You are starting from scratch, its good! Pick any topic ; Go through NCERT (I am not telling to read) and try to focus on the very basics of the concepts mentioned! This should not take much time ; Now once you have clear background of what your topic is like Go through the material provided by your institute (if any) or from your friends and check out how the standard questions are approached.

At this stage you may start taking notes or may be a compendium(helps a lot) wherein you jot down the formulae you rarely remember(maths , physical chem), concepts you often mess up (physics), reactions that are in the specified COURSE (organic , inorg).DO NOT KEEP ON CRAMMING EACH AND EVERY REACTION.

Goodluck I hope this information helps you

Hello Dear

Inorder to achieve the success, you need to have a good command on the subjects and for having the good commands in the subject you need to be strictly follow the proper time table and for that you need to do ;

  • Make the proper time table having proper time for each and every particular subject of PCM.
  • Don't read any subject continously because that particular subject will goona burst your mind if you will read it continually.
  • Try to have the gap of atleast 1 hour duration after any subject.
  • Always do more number of Mock tests.
  • Try to do Chemistry during the morning time and thereby followed by the Physics part and lastly during the night time do the sums of Mathematics. Which will never makes you bore.

All the best
