If yes, then there's a simple plan for someone in 9th std. Complete your syllabus, and be very thorough with the concepts of maths and science. Don't just mug up things for exams, but study because the same concepts will be the foundation for your preparation for JEE later.

Inorder to prepare for JEE mains you need to follow few steps ;

• Go through with the syllabus of your class thoroughly such that you can't face any difficulties afterwards.
• Solve various number of numericals from each and every domain of PCM.
• Go through with the previous papers of JEE Mains such that it will help you a lot to understand the scenario of IIT-JEE.
• Believeon on your hardwork and don't divert your mind from studies that is the key mantra for the preparation of IIT-JEE.

So overall you should start preparing for JEE Mains and Advance from Class 9  itself because that will be the good time to scoring good marks.
