Hello,

Based on your HPCET score of 110 and your EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category status, your chances of securing admission to Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College (JNGEC), Sundernagar , are uncertain

While specific cut-off marks for JNGEC are not publicly available, previous data indicates that candidates in reserved categories, such as EWS, have been admitted with scores ranging from 70 to 90 marks in various colleges.

However, JNGEC is a government college, and competition is typically higher. Therefore, while your score might meet the minimum qualifying criteria, it may not be sufficient for admission in the first round. You may still have a chance in subsequent rounds if seats remain vacant.

To enhance your prospects, consider participating in the counselling process and exploring other colleges as well.

Hope it helps !

If i didn't get admission , a case will be filed on JNGEC , because they have mentioned it on their official website that they will take students with. 15 score in JEE , 20% in HPCET , and 45% in 12th. If they will not take me , then this will be my step . They should have removed that from there also , if they don't takes students of my level

HELLO,

Sorry to say but its difficult to say that whether you can get admission in Jawaharlal  Nehru government Engineering college with score of 110 in HPCET as an EWS candidate

Cutoff scores-

You will need to compare your score with specific EWS cutoff for desired course and JNGEC.

EWS Reservation-

The EWS reservation is basically for weaker sections if you meet the criteria you may be under EWS quota.

HPCET score-

the minimum qualifying score is 20% for general categories and 15% for reserved categories .

To determine you will need to check -

1 .Check previous year Cutoffs

Check the previous years cut offs for HPCET specially for EWS candidates.

2. Consider Course Availability

Popular courses may have higher cutoffs so check your chances based on course availability and ews reservations

3. Evaluate you overall Merit

if your score falls within the range of the EWS reservation your chances may be higher

Check the link for HPCET reservation criteria- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/hpcet-reservation-criteria
