Admission Process 2021
Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar offers B.Tech in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, textile engineering. A total of 252 seats (63 seats for each course) are offered out of which 12 seats (3 seats for each course) are reserved for tuition fee wavier scheme (TFWS). Admission to the B.Tech courses offered by JNGEC, Sundernagar is offered through centralised counselling conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University on the basis of score obtained by the candidates in Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET)/JEE Main. For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech):
- Candidates should qualify Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (HPCET)/ Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main)
- The candidates have to fill the application form for participating in the centralised counselling process conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU).
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process.
- Selection to JNGEC will be based on the score obtained by candidates in the entrance examination (HPCET/JEE Main) and choices made by them in the counselling.
