No the overall marks does not matters here. They wants you to score 50% in physics, chemistry and biology taken together. In addition to that it is important pass individually in physics, chemistry and biology.

For the SC/ST candidates there is some percentage relaxation. Instead of 50% of marks they needs to get 45% of marks in aggregate. You have to get 50 percentile in NEET to qualify.
