It is a good choice bevause if you are interested in teaching or in research or anything related to science then it will help you a lot to gain skills also it will give you extra time to gain extra knowledge.  Now coming to your question I feel that you should think about where your interest lies and then choose field according to it but still biotechnology would a good field because it is a dynamic field and you can learn a lot in there. Also microbiology, Neuroscience, zoology are good field. After doing Bsc in any of these fields you can even change your field in Mcs. Just one last thing I would mention is that do research work during your academic years it will be really helpful to you and choose the best possible college.
