You can apply as general candidate while applying for MHT CET but you cannot claim OBC reservations to get admission. And you cannot change your category now in MHT CET application nor you can participate in counselling as OBC candidate. Your candidature will not be cancelled. The only thing is you need to fill the counselling registration form as general candidate and you won't be able to avail OBC reservation.
