BHU is a well reputed university and it is definitely a good choice for B.A in Economics. If you aim for a job in companies like PwC or Ernst & Young, focus more on strategic advisory. People with advance degrees in economics will usually find a place in advisory services of the company.
If you are planning to work right after your graduation, then check the companie's official websites to find whether there any opportunities. Apply online, prepare for their assesments and interviews. Complete the assessment process and prepare to join if shortlisted.
If you have a plan to do a PG, you can go for MBA, MA, or you can also go for CA. Having an MBA in HR, Finance, marketing, operations or strategy will improve your chance of getting there. MA in statistics will also be a good option. If you wish to do people and organisations related advisory work, MA in sociology or Psychology will be apt.
Hope you are satisfied with the reply. Wish you good luck.
