Its good to know that you maintain your NRI Status, Since your son wants to do MBA In India , I would like to tell that there are few top bschools which has NRI Quota.

Top B school generally Involves PGDM Programme and colleges like KJ Somaiya, IIMs amd many other. They generally admit as Overseas/NRI Quota but seats are around 6/120 in all.

Do go through individual college website where you wish to apply as each one has different criteria and norms.

In many B school where NRI and Overseas candidates quota are combined and its around 4-5% total batch.

Common eligibilty norms for MBA are graduation with 50% which indirectly makes him eligible.

Do follow up college website and contact particular college for more details about it.

Yes your son absolutely eligible for NRI quota in B-schools. Infact many esteem business colleges of our countries give quotas to NRIs. Such as Delhi technical university, Jamilia milia islamia university, symbiosis colleges and ICFAI Business School also. And few IIT and NIT colleges which provides MBA degree apart from technical degree.
