Choosing colleges depends on factors like placements, ranking , faculty and infrastructure. In case of Biotechnoogy, you can expect lab facilities to be at its best, be it private or government ones. So, if you wish to opt for government ones, go for iit or nits. Else, in most of the cases, the best option is to go for private institutes with a better ranking and rating. Also, it does have effects on your career. Again that does not come on the type of college like government or private, but the ranking, as in many cases.
