Hello,
Yes definitely you can get admission via your GUJCET or Gujarat boards marks. You just need to score 45% minimum to get admission through GUJCET.If you haven't applied for jee mains then you have still options of applying for BITSAT,SRMJEEE,VITEEE,COMEDK,MHTCET,etc.
Good luck:)

Yes, you can appear in GUJCET to take admission in your state level government colleges.

In order to be eligible for GUJCET you should have secure 45% marks in your 12th class.

If you want you can apply for BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEE, AEEE and Manipal to take admission in top private level colleges.

Good luck!!

Hi Ankur

GUJCET is an entrance exam in which admissions are on the basis of it's own result and qualifying exam (class XII) result. The exam is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and they release the result of GUJCET in the form of merit list. ACPC prepares the merit list by giving 60% weightage to qualifying exam result and 40% weightage to GUJCET exam result.

However, there are some colleges/ universities under GUJCET participating institutes that offer seats on JEE Main basis. This implies that candidates will have to appear in JEE Main to be able to get admission in those colleges. Find the list below.

  • Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and

Communication Technology – 50% seats are filled with candidates on the basis of their qualifying exam score and JEE Main scores

  • Nirma University – 35% seats on JEE Main and qualifying exam result basis

  • Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) – 50% seats from JEE Main and qualifying exam result

  • Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management – 50% seats from JEE Main and qualifying exam result

  • Institute Navrachna University – 25% seats on the basis of JEE Main and qualifying exam result

  • GSFC University – 50% seats on the basis of JEE Main and qualifying exam result

The registrations for JEE Main closed on January 1, therefore, you will not be able to register for the exam now.

I would suggest you to appear in GUJCET 2018 by filling the application form as it will be available in March 2018.
