Hi Ankur
GUJCET is an entrance exam in which admissions are on the basis of it's own result and qualifying exam (class XII) result. The exam is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and they release the result of GUJCET in the form of merit list. ACPC prepares the merit list by giving 60% weightage to qualifying exam result and 40% weightage to GUJCET exam result.
However, there are some colleges/ universities under GUJCET participating institutes that offer seats on JEE Main basis. This implies that candidates will have to appear in JEE Main to be able to get admission in those colleges. Find the list below.
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and
Communication Technology – 50% seats are filled with candidates on the basis of their qualifying exam score and JEE Main scores
Nirma University – 35% seats on JEE Main and qualifying exam result basis
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) – 50% seats from JEE Main and qualifying exam result
Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management – 50% seats from JEE Main and qualifying exam result
Institute Navrachna University – 25% seats on the basis of JEE Main and qualifying exam result
