If you want to go for M.Tech in petroleum engineering then you are not eligible for the same as students done with B.E. or B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Geology or Geophysics are eligible. No student would be admitted with marks below 55% in his/her last qualifying examination. The students with M.Sc. degree must have cleared Mathematics paper in their B.Sc. degree.
